Tanaka and His Friends
Tanaka the Red Snail was created by Alex Kudrytski, journalist and author from Minsk, Belarus.
This little funny clay creature and a whole bunch of his friends are getting into all kinds of adventures, which are captured on camera and turned into comics, animations, and even books.
Tanaka on Paper
A number of illustrated stories about Tanaka were published by Nasha Niva, the tradition-rich Belarusian independent weekly, on its kids’ pages.
In January, 2009 the first illustated book about Tanaka’s adventures (in Belarusian language) was published in Minsk by Logvinau publishing house.
